The Amy Winehouse Foundation, set up by Amy’s family and friends will stand alongside Amy’s music as her legacy. The Winehouse Family have created this charitable body in Amy’s name to benefit young people in the UK and around the world.
Since her untimely death on July 23rd this year, there has been an international outpouring of love and goodwill to Amy’s family and friends. Many of Amy’s fans and well wishers have contacted the family to ask if there is a way that they can help. Amy loved children and the family wants the foundation to support causes that would have been close to Amy’s heart.
The Foundation will raise money to support projects and charities that need help for specific causes.
One of the first major donations to the Foundation will come from sales of Body & Soul.
