Amy Winehouse

A woman who has had the same struggles as Amy. I'll just lay it out there- I battle w/a cutting issue, eating problems, and a pill addiction... although I've done just about any drug you can imagine.I'm trying hard to keep myself together. I am almost all alone in my life, with no support from anyone except my boyfriend of a year and a 1/2. I fight my inner demons everyday. I'm even fighting for custody of my daughters. Needless to say (but yet I stress it) I'm so tired of fighting.When I listen to Amy's music, it seems to be my saving grace for that moment, day, week.....Aside from all of that I write like CRAZY... some songs, but mainly poems (and I don't mean the rhyming 'roses are red' kind). Sometimes I'll write short little stories that later turn into a poem or song idea. I also love photography and art. Painting, sketching, pen and ink work, etc. I'm also a certified paranormal investigator, although I don't have a team to work with (just the degree) so I haven't done much with that lately.Hmmm what else? Well I love to cook, love Pin-Up art (especially the real vintage art and photos), love being out in the country, and am just as happy getting all dolled up and going out for the night as I am in PJs on the couch watching movies (all depends on my mood). I am quite a nurturing person once you get to know me. Overall I try to find the simple pleasures in life. Beauty is all around us, and its sad to see those who fly through their lives with electronic devices glued to their heads... those filled with such hatred and ignorance toward others they've never known anything about to even begin to understand where that person may be coming from. Guess you could say I have a huge intolerance for those that are intolerant lol. Be it the bigger things (racism, religion, sexuality) or even the smaller ones (like tattoos or addicts) I've been judged. I have even lost friends just because I've been intimate with other woman or because of all my tattoos. I don't judge others based on preconceived ideas or what I see in front of me- so leave your judgments against me somewhere very far away!
